CALL FOR SHOW CHAIRS FOR "The Island of Misfit Art"
Thank you to those special people who have stepped up to chair and co-chair!
We are still looking for some fine folks to fill the PR, break down and hospitality positions. If you have questions about these positions, email us or come to the meeting!

Most chair positions require no experience and are a great way to learn marketable skills, meet new people, and receive praises from all. Plus, you'll get a warm, fuzzy satisfaction by being a part of the planning and execution of one of the biggest, longest-running and most well-attended and anticipated art exhibits in Nashville.

We encourage artists to team up and co-chair. Show chairs do not pay participation fees!

WINTER SHOW VENUE FOR "The Island of Misfit Art"
We have confirmed the DUE WEST PROFESSIONAL BUILDING as our venue for the Winter show! Did you know that they have studio, exhibition and performance space? Well, it's pretty awesome and we are happy to help spread the word about this space.

One super cool thing about this venue is that we will not be bringing the Untitled panels for installation, which those of you who have experienced carrying 8 foot panels up stairs will appreciate. The venue has a hanging system in place, which will definitely require all hanging pieces to have wire attached.

Thanks to the fine folks at the venue for working with us!

November 11: Deadline for Press Images
November 25: Last chance to pay at meeting
November 27: PO Box Mail Payment must be Postmarked by today
November 29: Registration and Paypal Option by midnight
December 2: Last Meeting before Show (ready to hang review?)
December 9: Art Drop Off 6pm-7:30pm
December 10: Installation 9-7pm
December 11: Winter Show 6-10pm
December 12: Clean up 10am to 1pm

Featured Opportunity

Come to Dr Sketchy's Pilgrims & Indian Session on Sunday November 15th when we have the lovely Lula Licious of Panty Raid! posing for your artistic enjoyment.

Forget sitting around the table with those people called your family eating dry turkey and watching grandpa take his teeth out and lay them on the table!

Come out to Dr Sketchy's and hang out with fellow artists, enjoy a drink or two, eat cake, draw pretty girls and celebrate the day those people on the mayflower came and stole this land from the people it belonged to!

We will, as always have great music, contests & prizes!
