We have lots of breaking news to share with you! After GLOW, we sometimes find it hard to get back up and start planning right away for the the Fall Show.
But, at last, we are in super planning mode and ready to get going. Are you?
The big pressing topic is this week's poster contest. Read on!

The big announcements are:
1. FALL SHOW TITLE - "IN ART WE TRUST"

Because sometimes art is all we can trust.

WHEN: FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 18, 2009; 6-10pm
FREE, ONE NIGHT ONLY, OPEN TO THE PUBLIC


2. FALL SHOW VENUE - BUFFALO BILLIARDS

Untitled goes downtown! Yep, the Fall Show will be in the heart of downtown's historic district, right on 2nd Avenue, with a fabulous view of the river.

3. POSTER CONTEST! THIS WEDNESDAY!

Now that we have our title and venue nailed down, let's see some of those awesome designs. Bring them to this week's meeting for a vote.

4. FALL SHOW LEADERS

Besides art itself, we are looking for some folks we can trust in handling our leader slots. Wanna learn how to curate, hang, or promote a show? Here's your chance! Ahem...Oh, did we mention that show leaders do not have to pay a participation fee?

Avenue 9 is located on a part of 9th Avenue near Cummins Station. 9th Avenue ends at Demonbreun by the Frist and picks back up for a short distance between Clark Place and Lea Avenue. You may find this short section of 9th Ave by turning onto Lea Avenue or Clark Place from either 8th Avenue South or 10th Avenue South. Then turn onto 9th Avenue South from Lea Avenue or Clark Place. Look for the Molyneux Sign above the entrance.
PARKING
Free Parking is available on the street around the venue. Please do not park in the lot across the street.

August 5: Pick show Chairs
August 12: POSTER CONTEST
August 16: Registration Opens
August 19: Deadline for Press Images
September 2: Last chance to pay at meeting
September 4: PO Box Mail Payment Postmarked Option
September 6: Registration and Paypal Option (midnight)
September 9: Last Meeting before Show (ready to hang review?)
September 16: Art Drop Off (usually 6pm-7:30pm)
September 17: Installation 9-7pm
September 18: In Art We Trust Show 6-10pm
September 19: Clean up noon- 3or 4pm
