Last week to pay and register for Fall show! Pick up posters tonight!

We hope you are getting ready for the Naked Carnivale!

CALL FOR ARTISTS!
Registration is still open for the fall show. This is the last week to register and pay. See deadlines below or on the artist page.
You can visit the Naked Carnivale artist page to get the link for registration and for more info.
SMALL WORKS - We are doing a small works table again for participating artists (optional), which was super successful at the last show.
Do you know any artists who might be interested? Pass it on!

PROMOTE!
We will have posters and flyers at this week's meeting for you to pick up. Please plan to post some posters and/or do some online promotion.
We now have all the poster files up on the website, ready to download and print or post online. We also have some html code for you to use. You can find these on the artist page:

REQUESTS
Anyone have
-Twister games we can borrow?!
-Extra tables for night of show?

We have lots of fun things planned for the show and would love to know if you have access to some carnivalesque things & people - like cotton candy machines, jugglers, unicyclists, stiltwalkers, etc.
Anything you can think of that may add to the festivities.

GAME MEETING - Wednesday sept 10 at 6pm
We're having a special early meeting this week before the regular meeting to discuss and plan the games we will have at the show.
Come and meet with your Enforcer d'amusement and her crew to give your ideas and help out with this fun project.

SPECIAL CLEANING DAY - Sunday Sept 14 at 1pm
Volunteers are needed this Sunday to help prepare the space for our show.
Plan to meet at the venue on the 14th at 1pm

DIRECTIONS:
Travel North on Metro Center Blvd. (Rosa Parks Blvd aka 8th Avenue North becomes Metro Center Blvd. at I-65).
Turn Right onto Vantage Way just past I-65.
Follow Vantage Way until it turns into Cumberland Bend.
Abundant Parking available.

REGISTRATION BEGINS: Monday, August 25
PAY: $15 due at or before Sept 10 meeting
or postmarked by Friday Sept 12
or online by Sunday Sept 14
REGISTER: by Sunday Sept 14 - midnight
DROP-OFF: Wednesday, Sept 17; 6-7:30pm
INSTALLATION: Thursday, Sept 18; 9am - 7pm
SHOW: Friday, Sept 19; 6-10pm
CLEAN-UP: Saturday, Sept 20; 10am - 1pm

COSTUMES / INSPIRATION

While there is no required theme for artwork for any Untitled show, we do have unique titles. We think the title for the fall show is quite fun and we're encouraging you to have fun with it too.

We are going to have a costume contest at the show and encourage everyone to dress in their version of carnival and masquerade gear.
Anything and everything from old sideshow carny to brazilian carnival styles. Go crazy!

Ever wanted to be a sideshow freak? A ringmaster? A unicyclist? A circus animal? A muscle man? A stilt walker?
A juggler?
Here's your chance!

We've put together some links for you on the costume page of our site. This will be developed further in the next few weeks and we appreciate any feedback or link suggestions.
