Art Drop-off this Wednesday

Hello everyone,

We will not be having our regular meeting at Kazu this week. We will be at the art drop-off.

In case you’ve been living under a rock and haven’t heard yet, our summer show is this Friday night and there are over 60 artists participating. (see list below – if you are an artist and you registered but are not on the list, contact us asap.)

WHERE DOES IT HURT? | one-night-only | Friday, June 15, 2007 | The Essense Room | 1511 Jefferson Street | 6:00 - 10:00 PM | Free and open to the public

LOCATION:

The Essense Room is located inside the Essense Day Spa. Above is a link to Google maps. It is located a few blocks from the farmers’ market downtown. When facing the building, the Essense Room is on the right side. There is a sign for the venue above the entrance door. (1511 Jefferson Street Nashville, TN 37208)

There is a small parking area behind the venue and lots of street parking on 16th Avenue right next to the venue. We also have access to these parking lots/areas for the night of the show:

ART DROP-OFF

The art drop-off and volunteer confirmation for WHERE DOES IT HURT is Wednesday, June 13 from 6-8 PM at The Essense Room. Drop-off/confirmation takes about 15 minutes. Come any time between 6 and 8pm. Late work will not be accepted. Did we mention that late work will not be accepted? We did. It will not.

If you registered for WHERE DOES IT HURT? and decided later not to participate, please email Info@untitlednashville.org to let us know your change in plans. Otherwise we'll worry about you and wait for you and be grouchy.

Here's what to bring to the drop-off:

1) Your work, which must be dry and ready to hang (wired, or with other appropriate hanging hardware). PLEASE BE SURE YOUR NAME AND THE TITLE OF YOUR PIECE ARE ON THE BACK. If your work is not properly prepared for hanging, it will not be shown. Please check in with the curator or installation chair to confirm that your work is ready to hang.

2) A bottle of wine, or water, or soda or a food item to share with our guests.

Optional: A one-page bio and/or artist's statement. Untitled maintains a book of bios and artists' statements for patrons to review during our shows. If you would like your information included in the book, please bring a single page with you to the drop-off. Article on writing an artist's statement:

You may also bring your small promotional materials to place on our sales and information table – ie: business cards, postcards, bookmarks, pins, stickers, etc.

As always, if you have questions, please email info@untitlednashville.org

Can't wait to see what you made!
