Last Regular Meeting before Show

Hello Everyone:

Tomorrow (Wednesday, March 7) is the last Untitled meeting before our show on March 16. Please come! We'll be at Kazu in Cummins Station at 7:30 PM. At this meeting you can pay your $15 fee, pick up posters and postcards, and snag that coveted volunteer spot you've been eyeing. If you haven't registered yet (shame on you!) you can do so now and anytime until Sunday night at midnight at the following address:
http://www.surveymonkey.com/s.asp?u=750483375136

If you can't make the meeting, we'll miss you desperately, but you can still show with us next Friday if you postmark your $15 fee to PO Box 40232, Nashville, TN 37204 before Saturday and sign up using the link above before Sunday.

SUMMIT: I'm guessing you've heard by now, but we don't want anyone to miss out on the Nashville Arts Summit on Saturday. This is a great chance to be a part of a conversation about the future of art in Nashville. Don't miss it! You can come for an hour or for the whole day. No reservation is required. See the end of this email for more details.

PUBLICITY: Meanwhile, please take every opportunity to publicize SWEET 16. Have you posted it on your blog? Invited your myspace friends? Sent it out to your church listserv? Made your mom and your aunts and uncles and cousins promise to come? Called your high school art teacher? Printed out the poster and taped in your car window? It's available for download on the Untitled website at www.untitlednashville.org.

OTHER EVENTS:

On Friday night, Untitled member Colleen Wandel is curating a one-night show at the Anchor from 6-10 PM. Several other Untitled artists are participating. Here's a link to the flyer: http://www.flickr.com/photos/fixuplooksharp/395404759/

On Saturday night, it's The Big Art Show in Murfreesboro at 6:00 PM at Espresso Joes. This is a traveling show that will also feature local artists, including Untitled folks. It's a similar concept to Untitled, except they bring bands and somehow manage to to hang art shows, have art shows, and take them down all in a single day. Mad props to The Big Art Show for that. Whew! Here's a link to their events page: http://bigartshow.com/events.html

And SUNDAY it's CRAFT -- A Creative Community -- a new monthly outdoor art and craft event in East Nashville behind the Lipstick Lounge from 11 AM to 5 PM. More details at
www.myspace.com/craft_creative_community. If you missed last weekend's Revolution of Craft, here's a chance to get in on the crafty goodness.
