UNTITLED ARTISTS GROUP : NEWS: We have a poster and a venue!

Hello everyone,

Thanks to everyone who came out to last week's meeting for the poster design contest! We had several great designs.

Meeting: February 13th; 7:30pm
Kazu in Cummins Station

At this week's meeting we will begin accepting payment for your registration for the spring show "Active Ingredient". You can also mail in your payment anytime as long as it's postmarked by Friday, March 7. Our address is on the website.

We will also be having sketchbook night this week so bring some stuff to draw and/or draw with.

Feel free to bring any promotional stuff for your exhibits or just bring yourself to tell us about what you're doing.

Remember, ALL artists are welcome. Please join us. We hope to see you there.

ACTIVE INGREDIENT poster

Thanks to all of the artists for bringing your awesome poster designs to the meeting last week. Congrats to Xavier Payne for his mad skills.

Please remember that you are free to print and circulate your own designs to help promote the show.
We will let you know when posters and fliers are available. We will need your help to get these out around town.

Venue

We have a venue for the spring show! Limelight Nashville is a brand new venue, yet to be opened, and is located at 201 Woodland Street (across from LP Field).

Call for images

If you are an artist and you are planning to participate in the Untitled spring show: Active Ingredient, then we need your art!
This is a call for images to send out with our press release and/or to include on the website.

What we need:

ready for print image of your work that you plan to show in Active Ingredient
Deadline: Feb 14, 2008

IMAGE:
-JPEG
-300dpi
-cropped to show art only
-good, clear image quality
-no glare

Please also include:
-artist name
-title
-size of original artwork in inches
-medium
-your website if available
